Colin is the founder and managing partner of Confluence Tax. He specialises in venture capital schemes, R&D tax credits, patent box, share incentives and M&A transactions within biotech and tech. He chairs the Finance and Tax Advisory Committee of the UK BioIndustry Association (BIA) and undertakes consultation work with HM Treasury and HMRC. Emma is head of marketing for Confluence Tax, on a part-time basis. Her background is in journalism and, more recently, digital marketing. She has responsibility for the Confluence Tax website – an ever-evolving project – and delivers the company's marketing, branding and digital content strategy.

Chloe joined confluence tax in 2018, after graduating with a BSc (Hons) in accounting and finance. Within the Confluence Tax team Chloe is an assistant tax manager responsible for corporation tax, R&D tax credit claims, patent box calculations, VAT and personal tax returns. While studying for her degree she favoured the tax module so chose to follow a career in tax. Chloe is continuing her studies by completing the ACCA qualification.

Chris joined Confluence Tax in December 2018 as accountant, following completion of level 3 AAT. He has previously worked as a financial controller and operations manager in the restaurant trade, following a spell in retail banking. Chris graduated from the Open University in 2008 with a BSc (Hons) in life sciences.

Primrose joined Confluence Tax in 2018 and specialises in UK corporation tax, personal tax and VAT. She is an accounting and finance graduate and became ACCA chartered in 2018. She has previously worked in industry, public sector and moved into accountancy with a focus on tax. She is currently studying the CTA qualification to gain chartered accreditation.
Zan joined Confluence Tax in 2018, after graduating with a MSc in finance and real estate and BSc (Hons) in accounting and finance. Within the Confluence Tax team Zan is a finance assistant responsible for corporation tax computations and EMI valuations. She is currently studying towards her ACCA qualification.
