Confluence Tax announces merger with US firm Frazier & Deeter

Cambridge, UK – Confluence Tax has today announced it is to merge with a US counterpart, Frazier & Deeter, headquartered out of Atlanta, Georgia.
Confluence Tax founder Colin Hailey will continue to lead the firm from its office in Cambridge, while working closely with the existing UK office of Frazier & Deeter, located in London. The firm entered the UK in 2019 under the leadership of Malcolm Joy, who was previously head of the UK Life Sciences sector for a global accounting firm.
It has long been the ambition of Confluence Tax to offer services wider than just UK tax advice and merging with Frazier & Deeter will enable clients to continue to benefit from everything the firm already offers, but with access to an expanded range of services and global expertise.
The merger will enable Confluence Tax to not only offer clients a full suite of UK tax services, but many new services, including assistance with US tax, US IPO financial support, public and private company audits, transfer pricing and US/UK company restructuring.

Merging the Confluence Tax team with the existing Frazier & Deeter UK operation will greatly expand the practice to become one of the largest technology and biotechnology tax and structuring firms globally.
